Introducing HOMESin part IV
Michael Patterson comment 0 Comments access_time 1 min read

Landlords and support and care providers can list their housing vacancies in real time at no cost and pay a small, one-off fee when a tenant is successfully referred by a commissioning authority and accepted by the landlord or support/care provider.

Founder, Lee Parker speaking at Housing Conference 2019 in Manchester

Landlords and support/care providers are able to list vacancies in advance of them becoming available, minimising voids time, revenue loss and delays for tenants. HOMESin allows for planned moves over time for people with additional needs who require transition, and also for people requiring immediate housing, for example in the context of “Housing First” models. In addition to a system that’s based on outcomes for people (people are appropriately referred and housed in a timely way) there are also cost benefits to the public purse, time efficiencies and both direct and indirect cost savings to commissioners, landlords and providers.

HOMESin is about raising standards. The portal enables the generation of a great deal of operational management and cost information for HOMESin participants, so live comparative data on housing and provider costs and outcomes can be identified, based on our RAG/traffic light systems.
