HOMESin allows for planned moves over time for people with additional needs who require transition, and also for people requiring immediate housing, for example in the context of “Housing First” models. In addition to a system that’s based on outcomes for people (people are appropriately referred and housed in a timely way) there are also cost benefits to the public purse, time efficiencies and both direct and indirect cost savings to commissioners, landlords and providers.
